Description:

 

The restoration of Ernestine Virden Cannon’s house in Amalfi saw new architectural elements and furniture integrated into the artist’s home while preserving the original configuration of the property. The new additions were carefully studied to maintain the original ethos of the house and complement the decorative elements left behind by Ernestine Virden Cannon herself, a renowned American ceramicist who lived in Vietri del Mare in the mid-20th century.
